Carnival

Carnival is a Western Christian festive season that occurs before the liturgical season of Lent. The main events typically occur during February or early March.Carnival involves a public celebration and/or parade combing some elements of a circus,masks,and a public street party.

ITALY.
In Italy the most famous Carnivals are held in Venice,Viareggio,and Ivrea.

The Carnival in Venice was first recorded in 1268.Its subversive nature is reflected in Italy's many laws over the centuries attempting to restrict celebrations and the wearing of masks.Carnival celebrations in Venice were halted after the city fell under Austrian control in 1798,but were revived in the late 20th century.

BRAZIL.
In Brazil the famous Carnival are held in RIO DE JANEIRO.

The Carnival in Rio De Janeiro is a festival held before Lent every year and considered the biggest carnival in the worls two million people for day on streets.The first festivals of Rio date back to 1723.
