The Dancing House

The Dancing House or "Fred and Ginger", is the nickname given to the Nationale-Nederlanden building in Prague,Czech Republic.It was designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunic in cooperation with Canadian American building was designed 1992 and completed in 1996. The very non-traditional design was controversial at the time because the house stands out among the Barque,Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings for wich  Prague is famous, and in the opinion of some it does not accord well with these architectural styles. The then Czrch president ,Vaclav Havel, who lived for decades next to the site, had avidly supported this project, hoping that the building would became a center of cultural activity.

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu, now one of the seven wonders of the world, is a small city in the Andes. Sapa Inca Pachacuti built Machu Picchu in the mid-15th century.  It appears to have been a sacred, ceremonial city and an astronomical observatory. The largest park in  Machu Picchu , called Huyana Picchu, is known as " hitching past of the sun". Most of the roughly 150 buildings in Machu Picchu were built of granite so their ruins look like part of mountains. The Inca made regular blocks of granite fit so tightly together that there are areas where a knife cannot fit between the stones. Yale archaeologist Hiram Bingham discovered the ruins of the city in 1911.

Invictus Games

The Invictus Games is an international Paralympic-style multi sport event,created by advisors of Prince Harry,injured or sick armed services personal and their associated veterans take part in sports including wheelchair basketball,sitting volleyball,and indoor rowing. Named after Invictus, Latin for "uncoquered", the event was inspired by the Warrior Games, a similar event in the United States.The first Invictus Games was in March 2004 in London at The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The Maldives, or the Maldive Islands, is a group of islands in the Indian Ocean. This country is famous around the world for its beauty. Nowadays many people come here to enjoy the clear blue water and the wonderful sights. The country’s economy is improving fast because of tourism. Some people come here to learn more about the rich culture. Each island has a unique culture. People play music on the bodu-beru (big drum) and make beautiful sailboats (dhoni).
Tourists seeking adventure might come to try new and exciting activities, such as diving or surfing. There are thousands of different fish and creatures that live under the water. You can also see many different kinds of whales if you take a tour boat. This is also a great place for a romantic getaway for couples. Many people spend their honeymoon here. At night, you can see thousands of stars in the sky.  Couples can also visit a spa and relax with a nice massage. The Maldives might be the perfect place for your next trip!

FRAGOLA

My surname is Fragola.

From Fragola "strawberry",probably applied as a topographic name for someone who liived by a patch of wild strawberries,a name for grower or seller of soft fruits,or a nicname for someone with a strawberry mark.

Carnival

Carnival is a Western Christian festive season that occurs before the liturgical season of Lent. The main events typically occur during February or early March.Carnival involves a public celebration and/or parade combing some elements of a circus,masks,and a public street party.

ITALY.

In Italy the most famous Carnivals are held in Venice,Viareggio,and Ivrea.

The Carnival in Venice was first recorded in 1268.Its subversive nature is reflected in Italy's many laws over the centuries attempting to restrict celebrations and the wearing of masks.Carnival celebrations in Venice were halted after the city fell under Austrian control in 1798,but were revived in the late 20th century.

BRAZIL.

In Brazil the famous Carnival are held in RIO DE JANEIRO.

The Carnival in Rio De Janeiro is a festival held before Lent every year and considered the biggest carnival in the worls two million people for day on streets.The first festivals of Rio date back to 1723.

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day is a celebration of Christian origin observed in the United States (the fourth Thursday in November) and Canada (the second in October) in gratitude to God for harvest and far how received during' past year.

In this advertisement there is a green background with a phrase written above: "Makes other snacks look scary".And below it is depicted this chocolate with a scary face that hunting froked tongue made of caramel. I think... that some kind of food aren't good for your body. This kind of advertisement it serves  to increase the selling of chocolate. 

New Year traditional around the world

Austria:
 Austrians find good luck charm in Suckling pigs. They serve it on the dinner table with edible pigs and the peppermint ice creams are served as desserts for fortune


Belgium:
 They call the New Year eve as Saint Sylvester Eve. They believe in throwing family parties, where everyone kisses, exchanges fortune greetings apart from raises toast to welcome the New Year in their own manner.


German:
 Lead is considered to be auspicious here. They pour molten lead into cold water and the shape that is taken after, predicts the future. Heart shapes symbolize marriage whereas round shapes denote good luck; anchor shapes tell that you need help however a cross signifies someone’s sad demise.
